Jewish Federation Advocacy Document
"Partners in Caring for Our Community - Government and Jewish Agencies Working Together," is delivered to Washington State legislators prior to the legislative session. The document describes our beneficiary agency priorities in the areas of children, youth and families, adults, seniors, and human rights. "Partners in Caring for Our Community..." also serves as an educational tool for legislators from all over the state about the diversity of the Jewish community.

The state legislative session - which begins January 13th - will be extremely challenging to our social service agencies. The State faces a $2.6 billion deficit that must be reconciled from $23 billion budget. This means huge cuts are likely. Our community must be proactive in communicating with the legislature regarding our priorities. Fill out the signup form if you would like to receive regular "action alerts" during the legislative session.
