Interfaith Couples

If your partner isn't Jewish and you are, you may be interested to know that one of the goals of the Jewish Federation is to sensitize our community to your needs. Many of our local congregations and organizations have made it a priority to welcome interfaith couples and their children and are very knowledgeable about accompanying issues. We would love to help you find the "right" Jewish place for your needs.

If you would like to receive a copy of our Get Connected Packet, please fill out our Sign-up form. For more information please email outreach@jewishinseattle.org or call (206) 774-2210.

Below are a few resources that may be of interest. Please visit our WWW links page for more sites, and the Guide to Jewish Washington for local information.

  • Jewish Family Service Adult Services - 206-461-3240 or interfaith@jfsseattle.org for information on programming for interfaith couples.
  • Jewish Outreach Institute – Dedicated to creating a more open and welcoming Judaism.
  • InterfaithFamily.com – Resources and discussion of interfaith marriages.
  • JConnect: Jconnect Seattle is a unique program run by Hillel at the University of Washington that is designed to serve the needs of post-college (ages 22-32) Jewish young adults in Seattle. Our mission is to bring together Jewish grad students, young professionals and their friends to create opportunities for them to build community together, celebrate their Judaism together, learn together and take action together. JConnect is welcoming of interfaith couples.
