Federation 79th Annual Meeting: A Year of Living Generously
On June 9th, more than 200 celebrated at the Federation’s
79th Annual Meeting held in honor of our community members who have generously
given their time, talent and resources to help meet the needs of Jews
local and worldwide. David Stiefel was awarded the Kaplan President’s
Award for Outstanding Service. Renee Herst and Noah Tratt were awarded
the Jack J. and Charlotte Spitzer Young Leadership Award, and Eileen Gilman

Levitan Innovation Award Winner Announced
Panim Hadashot: New Faces of Judaism was presented with the new Levitan
Innovation Award, an award created by Stacey and Dan Levitan to stimulate
and encourage organizations, synagogues, agencies and individuals to develop
programming with new and different approaches aimed at fostering and/or
increasing engagement in Jewish life in the greater Puget Sound area.
A special thank-you to Barbara and Stuart Sulman for being our event chairs.
