RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUSTICE
Welcome! This section of our web site relates to Tzedakah, the giving of your time and your financial contributions. Tzedakah, accurately translated does not simply mean charity. Tzedakah means justice because justice demands that we, as Jews, give to those who are lacking. Justice transcends the issues of religious pluralism and is implicit in the foundation of Jewish thought.

As a member of the community, whether you're new or intimately involved, there are numerous opportunities for you! You can volunteer your time within the various divisions of the Federation, or at our beneficiary agencies. If you don't have time, but would like to make a financial contribution, there are many choices for you: through our annual Community Campaign, or through the Jewish Community Endowment Fund-the choice is yours.

Each individual act of caring joins with thousands of others to support the weak, feed the hungry and nourish the spirits of hundreds of thousands of Jews here at home, in Israel and in more than 60 countries around the world.
