Connections
The Women's Movement was alive and kicking at the Sheraton
Hotel as a record crowd gave Gloria Steinem two standing ovations
during the Women’s Division of the Jewish Federation
of Greater Seattle’s annual Connections. The Sheraton
ballrooms seemed filled to capacity as 650 Jewish women, the
largest attendance in the event’s 11 year history, joined
together for brunch, a keynote address by Ms. Steinem and
the opportunity to gather and meet with Jewish women from
throughout the greater Seattle area and beyond. Click
here to read the full story, photos and inspirational quotes
from women as seen at the event.
