Personal Israel@60 Stories Needed
In an effort to celebrate Israel’s rich and diverse 60 years of independence, a video is being created which will highlight personal Israel experiences over the past 60 years.
We would like to hear and videotape your story.
Once collected the edited stories will be posted on our Israel@60 website, and potentially be used for the upcoming Israel@60 celebration at Benaroya Hall on May 7.
We are looking for community members of all ages with a story to share. Actually visiting Israel is not a prerequisite for story sharing
When did you first visit Israel?
Have you participated in a special holiday or occasion in Israel?
Do you have historical knowledge of some event that changed your life
or a member of your family’s life, either in Israel or about Israel?
Do you have video footage or photos of that experience you would be
willing to share?
Were you in Israel when Independence was declared?
Did you serve in the Israeli army?
Did you live/study in Israel?
Do you remember the Yom Kippur War?
Do you remember how you felt?
What was your most memorable Israel experience?
We are currently setting up appointments for April 6, 2008 to hear and videotape your story.
If you would like to participate, Contact KimG@JewishInSeattle.org or (206) 774-2221.
