Young Adult Division or YAD

The Young Adult Division (YAD) of the Jewish Federation aims to involve Jewish young adults ages 21-39 in the Seattle Jewish community. YAD works to partner with and promote those organizations providing programming and events geared towards this important age group.

One way we do this is through the YAD Monthly Newsletter, which showcases events and programs going on in the Seattle Jewish community in that month that are young adult friendly. Please contact Shayna Rosen at ShaynaR [at] JewishInSeattle [dot] org if you have an event that you would like included in next month's newsletter, of if you would like join the YAD mailing list.

Greetings Jewish Young Adults of Seattle!

The New Year means new beginnings, fresh starts, and many opportunities for you to get involved in the Seattle Jewish community!

Kehilah, community, has always been a core value of the Jewish people. Whether it is to play or pray, or commemorate the oys and joys of life, the Jewish people have always come together to support one another. Being a part of the Jewish community is an important part of your Jewish identity--but in such a big city, finding the right place for you is sometimes difficult. This e-newsletter should make things much easier. You are sure to find something that will interest you.

Thanks to Israel's Ministry of Education and Masa Israel, the program costs only $1,000 including flight, housing, medical insurance and a monthly stipend.
