Greetings Jewish Young Adults of Seattle!

The New Year means new beginnings, fresh starts, and many opportunities for you to get involved in the Seattle Jewish community!

Kehilah, community, has always been a core value of the Jewish people. Whether it is to play or pray, or commemorate the oys and joys of life, the Jewish people have always come together to support one another. Being a part of the Jewish community is an important part of your Jewish identity--but in such a big city, finding the right place for you is sometimes difficult. This e-newsletter should make things much easier. You are sure to find something that will interest you.

Menschworkers Make a Difference

With 8 buckets of yellow and lime green paint, 10 paint rollers and about a dozen paint brushes of various sizes, Menschworks kicked-off its fifth year of community service with 20 Young Leadership volunteers! YLDers donated their time and energy to help liven up the Kid's Town facility at the Stroum Jewish Community Center with a fresh coat of paint and some hard work. Over just a few hours on a cold January Sunday afternoon, Kid's Town was transformed into a bright and colorful space for the community.

Join us for our next Menschworks session on Sunday, February 20 at 1-4pm!
