Next Round of Applications Due for Teen Israel Scholarship

The second round of applications are due on January 18, 2012, which must be at least three months prior to the teen's date of departure. Israel scholarships through the Jewish Federation are need based, but a wide variety of criteria is considered when reviewing each application.

Summer Camp Scholarships Available

The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle's Camp Scholarship Application is now available for the summer of 2012. The Camp Scholarship Program is designed to help families in Washington State* with the cost of camp tuition. We believe that the Jewish overnight camp experience is an integral component in building a child's Jewish identity.

The online camp scholarship application is available at www.JewishInSeattle.org/CampScholarships. For families without internet access, a hard copy of the camp scholarship application can be sent upon request.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle's Israel Teen Scholarship Program wants you to Discover Israel! Hear about several Seattle teens' experiences while on Israel peer programs in our newly released video. You'll also hear from a local rabbi, community Shaliach and an Israel Scholarship Committee member to get their point of view on the experience.

One Week Left to Apply for Israel Program Scholarships

The first round of applications for the Jewish Federation's Israel Program Scholarships are due on October 25, 2011. Israel scholarships through the Jewish Federation are need-based, but a wide variety of criteria is considered when reviewing each application. Israel Scholarship awardees receive on average between $1,000 and $3,000 toward their Israel program. For more information and to download the scholarship application, click here.
