Internships

Goals: 

The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle is always accepting intern applicants. Internship programs are available in several of the Federation's departments. They are a great way to gain real-world experience in a nonprofit setting. We hope to help educate students as well as utilize their skills around the office. Internship areas include:

• Marketing
• Accounting
• Development
• Community Services

General Duties of Position: 

Internship activities may vary depending on the department in which you wish to work, typical tasks include:

• Stuffing welcome kits and other collateral pieces
• Making phone calls to confirm contacts and information
• Assemble and send mailings
• Assisting department in digitizing of files
• Filing, copying and scanning
• Special project work

**All internships are unpaid, volunteer positions.

Special Skills: 

Strong Microsoft Office experience(Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to multitask and work well in groups. Openness to learning about nonprofit industry and specific department area. Ability to take direction well and are detail oriented.

Time Commitment: 

Hours may vary depending on schedule availability.
