Researcher

Goals:

All our researcher volunteers are an integral part in guaranteeing that the organization's database remains up-to-date and accurate. There are a variety of departments that need help maintaining the database, several opportunities are listed below.

• Israel Advocacy
• Jewish Business
• Teen Philanthropy (Youth Mitzvah Fund)
• PJ Library
• Jewish Education

General Duties of Position:

Duties may vary depending on the department, typical tasks may include:

• Communicate with constituents for missing contact information
• Compile information for marketing materials
• Conduct web searches and cross reference records
• Internet research and writing for pertinent advocacy issues, particularly Israel

Special Skills:

Ability to conduct internet and other forms of research. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is a must. As phone calls is a regular task, excellent phone etiquette is required.

Time Commitment:

Can range from 2-6 hours per week, depending on the volunteer's schedule.
