TIPS Committee Members

Goals: 
TIPS, an acronym for Tucson, Israel, Phoenix, and Seattle, is one of over 45 partnerships established by the Jewish Agency to strengthen relationships between American Jews and Israelis and to promote cross-cultural understanding. Committed individuals are needed to staff any of several committees.
General Duties of Position: 

One committed person needed to serve as the TIPS Partnership Committee chair as well as volunteers to sit on three committees:

1. Art City Dancers: Teens will be coming from Israel to give a special performance during Lag B'Omer. Volunteers are needed to organize hosting and activities for them while they are here.
2. Camp Counselors: teens will be coming from Israel to act as camp counselors at the SJCC Day Camp. Volunteers are needed to organize hosting and activities for them while they are here.
3. Ethnic Flavors of Israel: Women will visit Seattle and prepare community dinners with traditional foods, song, dance, and stories. Volunteers are needed to organize hosting and activities for them while they are here as well as to help organize the events.
