Educators Workshop: Leadership - What Does Judaism Present For Us As A Model?
Diana Ganger is back in Seattle to continue the conversation about reflective practice with the addition of a new topic: Leadership – What Does Judaism Present For Us As A Model?
Please join Education Services for a workshop on leadership in Judaism. We will explore what the Tanach teaches us about leading with vision, ethics, and morals. This includes conversation about viewing educators as leaders and the meaning and potential behind this.
We will discuss what leading in a pluralistic Jewish community looks like, how to listen to the strength in every voice, and the concept of self-correction. As teachers, directors, principals, and any other position in communal life we affect the lives of other community members. We must always ask how we can maximize our purpose, responsibilities, and obligations in this realm.
To RSVP, please contact Jenna Oates by Friday, January 27 at
JennaO [at] JewishInSeattle [dot] org or call 206-774-2251.
This event is open to all educators and teachers in greater Seattle. STARS and JTC credits are available. CLOCK hours can be earned for this seminar if you attended Diana’s November session as well.
