Falling in Love Again with the Seattle Men's Chorus

April 2, 2011 8:00 PM - April 3, 2011 2:00 PM

SMC's Falling in Love Again, is a richly varied concert using music to powerfully highlight the lives of gay men in Germany before and during the Nazi era, and has received a grant from our Special Initiatives Fund to engage young people in our community. The performance features music from pre-war Berlin's extraordinary, effervescent cabaret scene in Life is a Cabaret with Nick Garrison and Spectrum Dance Theatre, plus Jake Heggie's riveting chamber opera, For a Look or a Touch, featuring Morgan Smith and David Pichette.

This concert is taking place in conjunction with the Washington State Holocaust Education Resource Center's exhibit Nazi Persecution of Homosexuals, open to the public March 30 - April 3.
