Light the Night: A GLBTQ Hanukkah

December 21, 2011 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Please join us for Kolenu's Light the Night: A GLBTQ Hanukkah, and celebrate the miracle of Hanukkah as we honor eight community leaders, including our own Zach Carstensen,  Director of Government Relations and Public Affairs who have been influential in our local fight for equality. We'll have everything from latkes to dreidels, and the evening will also include a beautiful candle lighting symbolizing both the miracle of Hanukkah and the idea that great leadership and community action will prevail against oppression.

What began as an experiment three years ago has now become a highly anticipated, widely attended Seattle tradition. I hope you will join us as we celebrate the Festival of Lights and honor community leaders who have been influential in our local fight for equality.

This event is FREE and open to the community. Allies, friends and family welcome. Due to the location, this is a 21+ event.
