MenschWorks: Volunteer at JFS
Sunday, June 13 is the final MenschWorks project for 2010. Our final project will be held at Jewish Family Service. All Jewish adults in their 20's, 30's and early 40's—from the experienced MenschWorker to the first time participant—are welcome. We will be doing a variety of work, including gardening, painting and cleanup.
JFS provides assistance to thousands in need in our local community and they are grateful to have our help on the afternoon of June 13 from 1-4pm. If you have not yet signed up to participate in MenschWorks, sign up here. If you are already on the MenschWorks list, you will receive an email requesting an RSVP for this project. We have committed to bringing 16-20 volunteers to JFS. We hope you can join us!
Jewish Family Service is a partner agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle. They describe their mission as the following: “We deliver essential human services to alleviate suffering, sustain healthy relationships and support people in times of need.” You can read about their history and the services they offer on the JFS website.
Please RSVP in order to receive location and event details.
