60 People, $60 in 60 Days: Increasing Jewish Literacy in our Youngest Generation
Our local PJ Library program is thriving, with nearly one PJ Library storytime per week happening throughout King and South Snohomish County.
Support this amazing program that provides free books and musical CDs to Jewish children throughout all of King County and South Snohomish County. The PJ Library increases children's Jewish literacy, as well as parents.
Donate $60 to the PJ Library between now and August 27, 2011 and if you are a new donor it will be matched $ for $ by a matching grant, generously donated by Carl and Joann Bianco. Make your contribution here.

Under the guidance of Manager Amy Hilzman-Paquette, our PJ Library program has grown to over 1,500 children. Each month, each child receives a personal copy of a beautifully illustrated story book with Jewish content, appropriate to young children, from 6 months to 5 1/2 years old.
"This program helps young families in our community connect with their Jewish culture," says Hilzman-Paquette. "It's a joy to watch Judaism come alive for the children and to see their families grow together and connect with other young Jewish families."
