Action Alert: Urge the State Senate to Support a Jewish Hospice for Washington

Did you know Seattle is the only major U.S. city without a Jewish hospice? If passed by the Washington State Senate, HB 1926 will change this. HB 1926 creates an exemption in the hospice licensing process for hospices that provide culturally or religiously appropriate hospice care, thus permitting a Jewish hospice. Kline Galland, which already runs a Jewish nursing home and other assisted living options, would offer Jewish hospice services.
