Big News for Our Community

The Federation has undertaken our biggest change this year... with the introduction of new ways to give.

Donors now have increased ability to connect their passions with meaningful impact in our Jewish community.

At our Campaign Kickoff event, Federation supporters were invited to "Imagine" the vibrant, thriving Jewish community of the future... to "Imagine" a Seattle Jewish community that is so connected and so engaged that people from across the country and around the world will choose to live and work here.

This year, for the first time in our 85 year history, donors to the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle can direct their gift to reflect personal passions. So – if the issue that is most important to you is social services for the most vulnerable, or providing Jewish experiences for children, or supporting needy elderly Jews in the former Soviet Union or Israel... now you can direct your gift to support those areas.

The chart below outlines the broad Impact Areas and Community Priorities to which gifts can be directed. If a you want to address a specific goal, that is possible, too.
