A Message From Joe and Judy Schocken, This Year's Annual Meeting Co-Chairs

Plan now to join us for our Annual Meeting celebration to honor outgoing Board Chair Ron Leibsohn, our volunteer leadership and our community award winners on Wednesday, June 22. This year's volunteer chairs are Joe and Judy Schocken and have this to say: "The meeting will bring together many of the various organizations that the Jewish Federation supports as well as honor those who gave so much of their time and effort this past year to make the Jewish community strong. It will be a fun evening and a chance to see Urban Enoteca, a brand new venue that is beautiful and innovative in design."

"I feel it is very important to have a strong Jewish community. People can give with their time by attending and working on events and by donating their dollars. It is important that those of us in the diaspora are well informed and vocal in the support of Israel. By supporting Jewish schools and institutions locally, as well as getting involved in politics we will strengthen Israel's position."
