The Power of Passion Inspires Connections Attendees
The 450 Connections attendees at the Women's Philanthropy brunch on January 29 were inspired to live their own lives with passion as they came together to support our Jewish community. This annual event is about connecting with friends, family, and community. We live in a thriving Jewish community, and each of us has the ability to make a significant impact today and for the future.
Together, the women raised nearly $115,000 for the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle's 2012 Community Campaign. These funds provide essential services to families in need, fund camp scholarships for 200+ Seattle-area children and strengthen programs that engage the next generation of Jews.

Guest speaker, Iris Krasnow, did not disappoint as she shared stories of her relationships with her mother, a holocaust survivor and husband, the humorous drawbacks of being a writer and why the Jewish Federation is so important to her. Iris was also interviewed on King 5's New Day Northwest on Monday.
