SAFE Washington Means Security for the Jewish Community

SAFE Washington/A Mark Bloome Initiative works for our entire Jewish community throughout the year, providing an early warning communications system, as well as security trainings to Jewish organizations throughout the state, like disaster response and community preparedness. In addition, SAFE Washington works closely with the Secure Communities Network, a national Jewish organization which advises the American Jewish community regarding matters of communal safety, security and preparedness. A recent example was a communication immediately following the death of Osama Bin Laden, encouraging Jewish community organizations to maintain a high level of awareness of possible threats.

The Jewish Federation is proud of our role supporting SAFE Washington. For details on SAFE Washington, including how an organization can become a member, visit www.SafeWashington.com.

SAFE Washington is a Mark Bloome initiative and is a partnership program by the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, SCN (Secure Community Networks), ADL and Temple De Hirsch Sinai.
