This year, the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle is participating in the Seattle Foundations GiveBIG Campaign. On Wednesday, May 2, if you make an online donation to the Jewish Federation through the Seattle Foundation's website, the Seattle Foundation will match a percentage of your donation.
This is a great opportunity for you to make your 2012 Campaign gift and have an even bigger impact on your Jewish community. How do you benefit from GiveBIG?
- Increase your gift! All donations will receive a pro-rated share of a $500,000 matching fund or "stretch" pool. For example, if the Jewish Federation receives 5% of the total donations for the day, we will receive 5% of the stretch pool. So a $500 gift will grow by another $25!
- Win a Golden Ticket! During the day, you could be chosen at random to have your charity of choice -- Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle -- receive an additional $1,000 from Give BIG's sponsors. And, you will also be eligible to win a Starbucks gift card worth $100!
