Volunteer: Make a Difference in Your Community

As you may have seen in the JTNews, the Jewish Federation is rolling out a new philanthropy approach designed to strengthen the Jewish community. A key feature of this new approach is enabling donors to pursue their interests and passions, and thereby encourage meaningful impact and change. We invite you to partner with us and make a difference in our community by volunteering in one of the following ways:

Becoming a Federation Ambassador. We need friends to help us tell the Federation story and talk about this new approach at a high level. You will have the opportunity to engage other donors or new prospective donors and share with them how they, too, can help strengthen our community. If you are interested in learning more about being a Federation Ambassador, please contact Shayna Rosen at ShaynaR [at] JewishInSeattle [dot] org.

Becoming a member of a Planning and Allocations Workgroup. These committees will help evaluate the needs in our community, evaluate specific programs or projects and make funding decisions. For more information, contact us at Volunteer [at] JewishInSeattle [dot] org.

Volunteering to help with an event or a specific project. These occasions come up all the time. For more information, contact us at Volunteer [at] JewishInSeattle [dot] org.

While we cannot necessarily accommodate everyone in every role, there are many opportunities where you can help make a difference in the Seattle Jewish community. Please share your interest today.
