Volunteer Spotlight: Brandon Nudelman

Having Brandon Nudelman, the philanthopy chair of University of Washington’s only Jewish fraternity Alpha Epsilon Pi, as a volunteer is a feather in our cap. The Jewish Federation has been lucky enough to have Brandon and his AEPi brothers recently serve as chaperones for J-Serve, the national day of service for Jewish teens, and volunteer at the Jewish Federation’s Super Sunday phone-a-thon.

Brandon said of the experience, “It has been a pleasure volunteering with the Federation and the courteous staff. I never really recognized the great events they put on and how supportive they are of the Jewish community until getting involved volunteering with them this past year. Each time out is a fun experience and I know that my help was very useful and much appreciated. This year has been huge in strengthening AEPi's relationship with the Federation and I am sure that it will only improve in years to come.”

Growing up in Newcastle, Brandon was an active member at Herzl-Ner Tamid and a student at the Jewish Federation’s Hebrew High. He continues his dedicated participation in the Jewish community manning the helm of AEPi's ongoing involvement in Jewish organizations and causes, both on and off campus. Between his pre-med studies and his AEPi duties, Brandon is one busy 20-year old! Nevertheless he and his brothers look forward to making time for their next opportunity to partner their ample energy and compassion with the Jewish Federation as volunteers.
