Seattle Association for Jews with Disabilities
The Seattle Association for Jews with Disabilities, a subsidiary of Jewish Family Service, provides skilled, compassionate support to people affected by developmental disabilities, persistent mental illness and brain injuries.
The Supported Living Program enables participants to live in their own homes while receiving the level of ongoing care and support from staff they need and request. The SLP offers case management, leisure support and chore services. Services are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual. Highly trained instruction and support specialists are also available to provide in-home respite care for families with children who have disabilities, including autism.
In conjunction with JFS’ Family Life Education department, the SAJD coordinates Shaarei Tikvah: Gates of Hope, holiday programming for people of all abilities, their families and friends.
