Our Funding Process
For the first time, the Jewish Federation is opening up its Community Campaign granting process to all Jewish Agencies in Western Washington and Agencies that serve Western Washington Jews. Agencies helping Jews in Israel and Overseas are also open to apply for a grant under the new fundraising model. The new model allows agencies in the community to apply for projects or programs that fulfill the goal of a specific priority area.
In the new model, agencies will apply for funding under any priority area they wish. The Planning and Allocations committee has created four new impact area work groups, which will be comprised of volunteers dedicated to evaluating the projects submitted under each priority area. These work groups will bring recommendations to the PAC to determine where funds will best be utilized and community goals achieved.
PAC uses an objective evaluation model to assess proposals and discuss and determine allocations based upon a set of select attributes.
