Key Israel Unplugged Highlights:

Two nights in Tel Aviv, two nights in the north and four nights in Jerusalem through speakers and people-to-people experiences, you will explore the following:

Tel Aviv and the Coast two nights in the boutique Carlton Hotel right on the Mediterranean

Meander the streets of Old Jaffa, check out the boutiques in Neve Tzedek, and sample the nightlife in the Namal, the renovated port in the northern city.

Explore the history in Israel’s first modern city, from museums to the gorgeous Bauhaus architecture that caused Tel Aviv to be named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Stroll and shop on Nachalat Binyamin, Shenkin Street and Rothschild Boulevard – the heart of the hip scene in Tel Aviv.

Attend an inspiring performance by the NaLaGaat Theater Company.

Meet some of the children and new immigrants we help directly in our partnership communities of Kiryat Malachi and Hof Ashkelon, and build relationships that will continue long after the trip ends.

Northern Israel: the Galilee and Golanspend two nights in the pastoral Kibbutz Hagoshrim Guest House

Visit some of the most interesting sites along the coastal road while traveling north, from the Roman ruins at Caeserea; to Atlit, a British internment camp for Jewish refugees; to the quaint town and artists of Zichron Ya’acov; to the Bahai Gardens atop Mt. Carmel.

Have a security briefing and tour of the Golan Heights overlooking Syria.

Spend a half day having fun in the sun with the choice of a cable car ride, rappelling, hiking through a nature preserve, tubing down the Jordan River, or just relaxing at a spa.

Explore the ancient city of Safed, a center of Jewish culture and home to a vibrant artists colony.

Enjoy a festive dinner at the Dubrovin Farm with wine tasting from the Golan Winery collection.

Visit the Kinneret Cemetery; resting place of many of the early pioneers of Israel; the Roman amphitheater at the Beit Shean National Park; and peer into Jordan at the baptismal site of Kasr el Yahud.

Share a magical Shabbat dinner with your fellow Seattlites overlooking the Old City of Jerusalem.

Partake of optional Shabbat discussion groups and walking tours enabling you to see Jerusalem beyond the headlines and behind the scenes.

Have a great night out with optional night-time tours of the Western Wall Tunnels or a pub crawl of night-time hotspots in downtown Jerusalem.

Spend time engaging with world-renowned educators and scholars at the Hartman or Pardes Institutes.

Stroll through the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, including shopping in the Cardo, tours of the 2,000 year old Herodian Mansions, and quality time at the Kotel (Western Wall)
