Hebrew High is a dynamic, accredited, elective-based program for Jewish students in the 9th-12th grade. Students attended Hebrew High on Wednesday night from 7-9pm located at the Stroum Jewish Community Center (Mercer Island) during the academic year.

What is Hebrew High?
Jewish teens who attend Hebrew High span the spectrum of Jewish beliefs, backgrounds and traditions. Many are affiliated with synagogues, youth groups and youth movements. Other teens are unaffiliated and find their connection within the Jewish community through our school. Faculty at Hebrew High has varied backgrounds, knowledge and religious experiences.

Credits for attending Hebrew High:
Hebrew High is an accredited school. What does this mean for you? Students can apply to Hebrew High and earn high school credits to fulfill their foreign language, physical education and history. This is in addition to the high quality elective based classes offered both hours. In addition, Hebrew High students have access to standardize testing programs like Kaplan SAT Prep at deep discounts.
Trips available to Hebrew High students:
Students at Hebrew High are also offered trips to cities such as New York and Washington DC. Students can also take summer classes for credit through our partner agency Torah High.
In addition, students at Hebrew High are automatically connected to opportunities through other Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle program and services such as J-Serve (national day of Jewish teen service), J. Team (teen philanthropy program). Hebrew High partners will all youth groups and movements to provide opportunities to enrich Jewish connection and identity.
Dinner and Snack:
Light dinner is provided every week ranging from pizza to Krispy Kreme donuts... and of course, Oreos.
Transportation:
Students travel from throughout the Puget Sound to attend Hebrew High. Transportation options are available upon request.
