Jewish Summer Camp

The camping experience gives children an opportunity to weave Judaism more deeply into their lives, make lifelong friends, gain skills, and explore their interests. For the 2016 camping season, the Federation awarded more than $157,000 in need-based camp scholarships, helping over 250 local children attend Jewish overnight summer camp.



Israel Scholarships

An Israel Experience is a life-changing journey that will help teens enrich their Jewish education and solidify their Jewish identity. Teen Israel scholarships are made possible with support from the Jewish Federation, Samis Foundation, and other donors. For 2016, the Federation awarded nearly $83,000 to help 20 teens participate in organized trips to Israel.



Reynold and Martha Atlas Torch of Learning Award

Jewish high school seniors in the Greater Seattle area are invited to enter our annual Reynold and Martha Atlas Torch of Learning Award essay contest about Jewish identity. The first-place prize is $250, second place $150, and third place $100. Click here to find out more.
