About Our School:
The Early Childhood School at the SJCC is a school of excellence where children feel secure and confident, and are nurtured to become deep and creative thinkers. We are inspired by the schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy, as well as by a social constructivist perspective. We also celebrate Jewish culture and values.
We serve over 200 children aged 3 months to 5 years across 16 classrooms. Our faculty is comprised of innovative educators who believe in striving for excellence in early childhood education. Teachers are seen as competent leaders in the school and are invited to participate in decision making, visioning, and the overall development of our school. Our teaching teams develop curriculum around the interests, inquiries and identities of our children. Relationships are at the center of our community, and we seek individuals with the ability to partner with faculty, families and the Leadership Team to support the work of our school community.
