Join us for Jewish Community Lobby Day, March 26, 2019!

The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle serves as the voice and champion of community priorities. Our guiding principles are:

  • Speaking up for the voiceless
  • Repairing the world
  • Giving to those in need
  • Pursuing justice

The Federation advocates for the community at the state and other levels of government. Our work includes legislative advocacy, grassroots organizing, community education, and coalition building.

Our advocacy focuses on several areas:

  • Working for our Jewish community agencies
  • Fighting attacks on human and civil rights
  • Supporting Israel
  • Speaking up for our most vulnerable
  • Preventing gun violence
  • And much more

The Washington State Jewish Action Center is the Jewish community’s hub for information about public policy and its impact on local and statewide Jewish communal organizations. The Action Center also is the primary tool the Jewish Federation uses to communicate with our community about critical issues.
