The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle is making investments to lay a strong foundation for the next generation of Jewish life.
The Special Initiatives Fund is held by the Seattle Jewish Community Endowment Fund, a vital source of support for local Jewish organizations and programs. The fund is managed by the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle.

Small Agency Sustainability Grants
Small Agency Sustainability Grants for Fiscal Year 2019 are now live! Find out more.
Small Agency Sustainability Grants, awarded annually, provide up to $5,000 each in operational support for Jewish organizations serving Western Washington Jewish communities with an annual operating budget of $150,000 or less. Application deadline is Friday, March 1, 2019.
Women’s Endowment Fund Grants
Women’s Endowment Fund Grants, awarded biennially, provide up to $10,000 each for programs and projects that improve the lives of girls and women, locally and in Israel. Thank you to all the organizations that submitted applications for the 2019-2020 cycle. The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle will announce grant recipients in early April 2019.
The Federation offers Ignition Grants to encourage innovation and help community organizations explore new ways of serving community. Ignition Grants, awarded annually, provide up to $7,500 each for new, pilot, or one-time projects.

Emergency Capital Needs Fund
The Emergency Capital Needs Fund assists Western Washington Jewish community institutions, organizations, and synagogues with emergency capital repairs or replacements, including physical plant equipment and security upgrades. The Capital Needs Committee may make loans of up to $75,000.
