As a member of the Paratroopers Brigade\, he was part of the first unit to enter Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7 before serving 100 days in the Gaza Strip battling Hamas. \n\n\n\nIra will be in Seattle for just one appearance\, discussing his experience on the frontlines and talking about his memoir\, Once a Paratrooper\, which will be available for purchase at the event or in advance.
