She began her career more than 50 years ago as the first full-time UW Jewish Studies faculty member. \n\n\n\nFrom 2022 to 2025\, Ambassador Lipstadt served as the U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism. In this special engagement\, she will reflect on the state of antisemitism in conversation with Martin H. Schwartz\, UW Stroum Center for Jewish Studies Dissertation Fellow.
