Applications Available for First-Time Camper Incentive Grants
Deadline for 2017 Grants:
The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, in a partnership with the Foundation for Jewish Camp, offers One Happy Camper First-Time Camper Incentive Grants for Washington State residents.
If your child is a first-time camper, you might be eligible for up to $1,000 off a Jewish overnight camp experience!
Eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Camper must already be registered for camp before applying for an incentive grant.
- Camper must be attending a nonprofit Jewish overnight camp for the first time for 19 consecutive days or longer. For the West - Camper must be attending Jewish overnight camp for the first time for 12 consecutive days. If the camper has attended camp previously for fewer than 19 or 12 days respectively, he/she is still eligible.
- Camper must be entering grades 2-10 in the following fall.
- Camper cannot attend Jewish day school.
Campers attending camp for three weeks may be eligible for a $1,000 grant. Campers attending a two-week session may be eligible for a $700 grant.
With more than 150 different camps to choose from (three located in Washington State), it's easy to find the perfect fit for your child.
