Wexner Heritage Program - Jewish Federation

Expand Your Leadership Vision

In partnership with the Samis Foundation, the Federation sponsors the Wexner Heritage Program for Jewish communal leaders seeking to expand their leadership vision and further develop their discourse and decision-making skills. Wexner is a rigorous, two-year study experience immersing participants in Jewish history, values, ideas, and contemporary issues, giving them an opportunity to reflect on insights that make for effective leadership.

Wexner’s dynamic curriculum is grounded in the wisdom of Jewish traditions and the latest in leadership education. The program features seminars and institutes that explore Jewish history from biblical times to the present day, texts and ideas that have shaped Jewish thought over the centuries, and leadership education derived from Jewish and secular sources. The program engages leading scholars from rabbinical seminaries, congregational rabbis, professionals from Jewish Federations and other Jewish institutions, and leading thinkers and public officials in Israel.

The expectation of participants is that they will realize their highest potential for exercising transformative leadership and making a lasting impact on the Jewish community.

The next Puget Sound Wexner cohort will begin in the summer of 2019.
