Rabbi Yissocher Frand will be at BCMH to share his unique blend of Torah scholarship, humor, eloquence, passion, and sensitivity. Rabbi Frand served two years as BCMH's interim rabbi. Now at Ner Israel Rabbinical College as a senior lecturer of Talmud, he has returned to Seattle every year for the past 40 years,

LUNCH & LEARN WITH PROF. JEFFREY HERF
Prof. Herf, professor of history at the University of Maryland, is the author of "Undeclared Wars with Israel: East Germany and the West German Far Left, 1967-1989." The book examines the spectrum of antagonism toward Israel by the East German government and radical leftist organizations from 1967 until the Cold War's end in 1989.
