Dear Seattle Community,

Just a little over a month into 2026, I wanted to pause for a few minutes to look back at all we accomplished together last year. 2025 was an incredible year that brought us joy, heartbreak, and every emotion in between.

In 2025, our community stood together resilient and hopeful, despite the challenges and antisemitic threats Jewish people have experienced around the world.

As I look through our newly released 2025 Impact Report, I see photos of so many of you gathering at our events, advocating for our rights, and showing up for each other with pride and joy.

Thanks to your investment in our work, in 2025, we expanded our communal security program in partnership with the Secure Community Network (SCN). This collaboration gives us access to a powerful national network of resources to keep all members of our community – from preschools to synagogues to community centers – safe and secure.

Your generosity helped 250 local children experience the joy of Jewish summer camp through more than $300,000 in scholarships.

One parent shared that “the camp scholarship program is more than just financial assistance – it is the unwavering support that has shaped our children’s identities and futures… Camp has become the foundational place where they built their strongest friendships, discovered independence, and deepened their connection to Jewish life in a joyous, immersive environment.”

Because of you, the Federation confronted the rising tide of antisemitism by training 357 non-Jewish leaders and 89 Jewish leaders to better understand the impact of antisemitism and learn about Jewish identity and culture. These powerful trainings, combined with ongoing outreach to elected and civic leaders, help us build strong relationships to support Jewish safety and inclusion.

And, our care for the Jewish people extended far beyond Seattle. In 2025, we allocated $570,000 in Israel & Overseas Grants, responding to the urgent needs of the global Jewish community. From supporting elderly Jews in Ukraine with hot meals and medical care to rebuilding Israeli communities and restoring farmlands impacted by the war, your generosity sustained lives around the world.

As you read our 2025 Impact Report, I hope you feel as proud as I am to be part of our incredible Seattle Jewish community.

Thank you for standing with us and making this work possible.

Shabbat shalom,
