Be Part of the Movement to Reconnect In-Person at Connections

Connections has always been a community event to which hundreds of Jewish women—and more than a few men!—look forward every year for networking, engaging, learning, and supporting your Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle.

This year, Connections will be extra special: it will be in-person for the first time in three years. When we gather on Sunday, February 5, at The Westin Seattle, the energy in the ballroom is certain to be at a high, enthusiastic level as we catch up, reconnect, greet old friends, meet new friends, and come together for community. And for those who cannot attend in-person, we are offering a live streaming option, ensuring that Connections is a welcoming, accessible event for all who want to be a part of it.

Our Connections 2023 Co-Chairs Stephanie Shujman and Ari Sulkin have put together an exciting program for you. Our featured speaker will be Tara Schuster, former Vice President of Talent and Development at Comedy Central, a bestselling author, and accomplished entertainment executive. Tara will bring us a powerful message about her transformative journey of self-healing and self-care and how showing up for yourself enables us all to show up for our community. In today’s world, with all its challenges and uncertainties, her message is as timely as it is inspiring.

And you won’t want to miss a special shout-out at Connections for iconic community leader Frankie Loeb, who received the prestigious Kipnis-Wilson/Friedland Award at the International Lion of Judah Conference in December 2022, in honor of her many contributions to Jewish life in our region and beyond.

Frankie epitomizes the spirit of Connections … women coming together to build a vibrant, flourishing Jewish Puget Sound. Connections fosters the relationships that are the heart of our community. Please join us!

I’m excited to see many of you in person on February 5 to catch up and connect!
