Young Philanthropists Amplifying Their Impact

The Ben-Gurion Society (BGS) is an affinity group for emerging philanthropists (45 and under) who are passionate about making a positive impact in our community.

BGS is open to individuals who make a contribution of $1,000 or more to support the mission of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle. This support will directly fuel vital programs and initiatives that address the pressing needs of our community, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.

BGS draws inspiration from the principles of David Ben-Gurion, Israel’s visionary first prime minister. He encouraged young adults to harness their power, passion, and resources to create a strong and responsible Jewish community, both locally and globally.

Where Does My Donation Go?

Your donation contributes directly to the Federation’s Annual Campaign, enabling us to address the most pressing challenges and seize the greatest opportunities in our community. Your contribution invests in the vibrant Jewish community in Seattle and provides care for Jews in need in Israel and around the world. It provides formative Jewish experiences for children and teens, supports our work confronting antisemitism, and ensures the safety and security of our community, just to name a few of the initiatives.

All new donors who join the Ben-Gurion Society before June 30, 2026, will have their $1,000 gift matched dollar-for-dollar by a generous anonymous donor, doubling their impact!
