Letter from the CEO: Celebrating New Leadership and Community Impact
Updates on new leadership, camp scholarships, advocacy in schools, and more.
Updates on new leadership, camp scholarships, advocacy in schools, and more.
I hope you will join us this coming year to find connection, hope, and meaning during these turbulent times.
Hear from Hannah Lidman, the new Chair of the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), on building bridges and sustaining our community in challenging times.
We are coming together to call on our government leaders to safeguard Jewish communities from hatred and violence.
Seattle’s JCRC delegation traveled to Washington, D.C. for the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) Summit, meeting with nearly a dozen Congressional offices to advocate for Jewish safety, social services, and community needs.
Throughout May, we proudly celebrated Jewish American Heritage Month (JAHM)—a time to honor the rich history, culture, and contributions of Jewish Americans.
What does it take to move from awareness to action? On May 4, the Federation’s JCRC brought together Jewish families from across the region to confront rising antisemitism in K–12 schools.
After careful deliberation, the Federation’s JCRC voted to sign a national statement addressing the relationship between Jewish safety and democracy.
We are proud to share that our two lead priorities—funding for Nonprofit Security Grants and Holocaust and Genocide Awareness Education—were funded in the final budget!
We need your help to let budget leaders know Holocaust and genocide awareness is critical.
