Federal Advocacy

A Voice for Our Community

“A Jew is asked to take a leap of action rather than a leap of faith.” – Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel

The majority of the Federation’s advocacy work is done in the Washington State Legislature. The federal work we engage in is supported and guided by our two national partners, the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) and Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA).

The three federal programs we consistently advocate for in partnership with JFNA include Nonprofit Security Grants, Holocaust Survivor Assistance, and Emergency Food and Shelter.

See below for opportunities to take action provided by our national partners.
