Israeli & Americans join together for a special Yom Ha’atzmaut gathering honoring Israel’s independence day. Together, we will review Israel’s Declaration of Independence, discuss ways to work together in support of a democratic & liberal Israel & our shared future based on peace & security.

In the spirit of our tradition, in which significant issues warrant vigorous discussion, please join Temple De Hirsch Sinai for a debate on this controversial and critical question. Professor Kenneth Stern and David Bernstein will engage with one another and with our community to foster a greater understanding and sensitivity to a diversity of perspectives.
