Infusing Israel into Puget Sound Jewish life
The Jewish Federation sponsors extended visits by young Israeli emissaries who work in synagogues, schools, and camps to bring Israeli life and culture alive for people of all ages. Shinshinim (post-high school) and Summer Shlichim (young adults) infuse Israel into local Jewish life, strengthening Jewish family ties and strengthening the foundation for a secure Jewish future.
The Shinshinim program is a partnership between the Jewish Federation and the Jewish Agency for Israel.

Our 2018 Summer Shlichim
Thank you to the three Summer Shlichim—Noy Asis, Shir Kedem, and Taly Pachornik—who brought Israeli culture alive at the Stroum Jewish Community Center day camps this past summer. The 2018 Summer Shlichim program was a partnership between the Jewish Agency for Israel, the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, and the Stroum Jewish Community Center.
