In February, the Federation partnered with the Samis Foundation and ElevatEd to host a dynamic day of professional development for early childhood educators in Seattle.
We can lift up joyful experiences and celebrate that more young people are engaging while also striving to support those who are affected by antisemitism.

Participants traveled from Seattle, Port Townsend, and Yakima to meet with lawmakers and to advocate for Jewish safety and inclusion.
The Federation’s mission and the vibrancy of our community were on display throughout all these gatherings last week.
We are proud to shine a spotlight on the fellows in this year’s Loeb Leadership Institute cohort, the Federation’s year-long program that prepares Seattle’s Jewish leaders for future service. Fellows develop the skills to make a lasting impact in the community through board service, workshops, and personalized mentorship.
We will be meeting with dozens of elected leaders to share the need to ensure Jewish communal safety through a range of legislative priorities.
Over the weekend, many of us woke up to the news of yet another antisemitic attack – this time in Jackson, Mississippi.
The specific legislative priorities were developed based on input from the JCRC Public Advocacy Committee, our lobbyist, legislators, coalition partners within and beyond the Jewish community, and form the basis of our advocacy in this legislative session.
On Wednesday, hundreds joined our Community Candlelighting and Vigil for the victims of the tragic Bondi Beach attack.
